I deal with beadwork and beadwork. If I need something heavy, I use Fireline or PowerPro. The problem with them, however, is that they're a bit stiff, so they're not the best choice when the design calls for some drape. So I went in search of a bead thread. When I first started beading, Nymo and Silamide were the only beading threads on the market and I wasn't particularly happy with either (ie Fireline and PowerPro). There are a lot more beading threads out there these days so I decided to try some of them. I must say that I am very satisfied with the KO beading thread. (And by the way, you can use them with all beads, not just Delicas.) It has a good drape, and while it stretches a bit, it also seems to hold its shape pretty well. I wouldn't use it for a heavy necklace, but for lighter jewellery, beads and especially fringes this beading thread is excellent! I've since bought several more KO coils in different colors.
