First, it's expensive. I understand you are paying for the aesthetics when buying a product like this, but I expected it to last longer than it actually does. Worked fine for a while, like most Xbox controllers. After about 6 months of careful use (an older child who is good with things plays a few hours a week), the headphone jack started to show signs of trouble. Turning on and off, loss of sound, etc. Thought it was a headset but it isn't. Then the controller rumble started behaving very strangely on one side. The sound got worse over time. There's no sign of physical damage to the connector, meaning there's something wrong with the electronics. I disassembled it and found no problems. I've had better luck with the traditional black factory controller that came with the system. No matter how much these things cost, it seems that no functional improvements have been made. In fact, their lifespan is shorter than traditional wireless controllers. In the end, don't waste your money.
