I've researched a variety of sink water filters. There were a few things that impressed me about the filter. The first was a 5 stage water filtration system using compression discs to allow the water to evenly cover the pellets. Second, it filters fluoride, a harmful chemical that water filters almost never remove unless you add an additional in-line filter. The third is a variety of other chemicals that it filters out. Fourth, the taste is great and as advertised the water tasted great until it came time to change the filter. The price was also reasonable considering what the 5 tiers actually do. All mechanical parts are still working great after intensive use in the last 5 months. So yes, I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive filter that does what it says on the tin. I even recommended it to my son who bought one at the same time and loves it.
