I'm 5ft 3in, 180lbs, most of the weight is in my hips and buttocks and I have a looser stomach after my hysterectomy. I usually wear a size 10 or 12 jeans. I bought the lilac size XL. and black in L to see how they fit. The material is similar to standard running tights and the fit is comfortable. Personally I will keep the large and return the XL because it's a bit baggy which isn't quite my style but if you like a looser fit you can go up a size, they are very comfortable.
