I had a covered/wooden basket for potatoes/onions. I'm so busy it tends to be "out of sight, out of mind". I can't tell you how many potatoes I had to throw away because of my age. Now I can see how many potatoes, onions and other veggies/fruit I have that need to be stored at room temperature. Baskets swing a little, they are not stationary. But when they have products, it doesn't matter anymore. I keep my bananas and cherry tomatoes on the top shelf. It has made my cooking life so much easier. I can see at a glance what products I have and what I need to buy. Very happy with my purchase.
