first let me say that I'm not the type of person to write reviews. I firmly believe that no matter what, there is always something good and something bad to be found in every product. You can't make many products and make them all perfect, it just doesn't work that way, or at least I don't think so. However, it was so bad that it prompted me to write a review. When we received the light, it doesn't work with batteries. That should have been my first clue. However, my 3 year old was so excited about his new dinosaur light that we plugged it into an outlet. When connecting it worked. He's actually very sweet and very bright. It would be great if it was a piece of shit like that. When he went to bed we turned it on for him. After 5 minutes he screamed and was scared. The light began to flicker like lightning. Scared him to death. I turned it off immediately. Good thing he got scared, the plug was hot! And not just warm, but hot. Needless to say, he's returning today and I'm incredibly lucky he didn't start a fire.
