When the box arrived I was very impressed with the packaging of the product. It was easy to see that a lot of thought went into it. The instructions were easy to understand and I thought of the price, you can't go wrong. The assembly was easy, the backplate fit as described. Small hook on the front panel holder for my Honda. Only normal threads are suitable for the OEM insert holder. So the screws in the kit don't work. The OEM screw heads are slightly larger, but I found the lid snapped into place with no problem when I wiggled them in the lid mount. Just be careful not to overtighten the bolts and crush the spring assembly when tightening. Most plate frame covers cover what the plate is about. As you can see in the photo. Not this one. I am very happy with this purchase. I didn't have to contact them but they did contact me to see if I was happy. Rarely seen these days. One of the reasons I bought it is the customer reviews. Small company and they really care about their product. And no, I have not received any privileges for writing a review. Wish you good luck! Update: Almost two years later, I hate to report the long-term effects of using screw caps. I wouldn't use them at all as they appear to be dissimilar metals and will rust. Two of the lid's lids fell off and found complete rust inside. Rust not only covered the frame but also my license plate. My car is 2017 and that's the first thing you see in front or behind the car. Removed the screw caps and caps and used steel wool to remove most of the rust. Pretty bum. Update Part II: The kind folks at Nylata contacted me after reading this review. They explained based on the feedback that they had remade the caps and asked if I would try again. 2 days later I received a new package license plate and indeed. Caps are MUCH BETTER. They're still stainless steel and the internal clip (the culprit of the rust) is gone. They have also modified the package with high quality stainless steel bolts to fit all vehicles. As for the hats. The inner lid has 3 additional tabs that lock it in place. I've updated with a short video (see attachment). I am very impressed that they went above and beyond for the product and their customers and it motivated me to do something for them! Pay in advance guys. Updated: 4/3/21. Harpy still looks good like a shell. Zero problems!
