Warning: I haven't used them so I can't speak about performance during use. I'm sending them back because I'm no longer working on the project I needed them for but wanted to provide feedback. They have qualities that I find hard to come by for small body attachments, and they're reasonably priced. I was looking for: 1) a short filament 2) a lightweight button battery pack 3) a timer function. That's hard to find. I have a lot of longer strings with 3 and 4 AA batteries. They are difficult to use for projects that require hanging. I didn't even pay attention to the blinking, but it's an optional feature. It should be remembered that every time you turn them on, they turn on by a timer. So if you want a solid "turn on" this won't work. There is also no option to set a timer for a specific period of time. But I've never seen that with fairy lights. Bottom line I would consider buying them again if I need this type of light in the future. In fact, I would consider keeping them if I bought the white ones instead of the purple ones.
