There is (as always) a catch to advertised read/write capability. And it's not just the presence of a Hyper M.2 slot on a mobile phone. Also note that you MUST have at least an AMD Gen 3 processor + an Ultra (Hyper) M.2 slot on the mobo. I had and spent about $500 on a Gigabyte A320 with a Corsair Force running at these speeds, x570mobo, fan, RAM and SSD, and my speeds are barely over what they used to be. In any case, I still like it. I just didn't want to have so many dependencies required to work as advertised. NVMe is not visible due to the MB built into the M2 heatsink, but there is an image. UPDATE: I have a Zen2 processor and the speeds are about the same. Maybe I'm crazy but when I look at userbenchmarkcom I see NO NVMe with 5K. Most of them look like the tops of 2-3K. So IDK where those numbers are coming from, but mine is not at all as advertised. (not by anyone) PNY NVMe Gen4- 2.1 Read/2.4 Write with new Ryzen7 3700x processor (userbenchmarkcom) New UPDATE: I found the program that was used to demonstrate these mass benchmarks. I think this will help EVERYONE wondering what to buy. And also who is honest, who lies and who is very modest in his advertised REQUIREMENTS. See photo above -1. C: PNY Gen4 NVMe in Gen4 Slot2. D: Regular Samsung Evo SSD (not NVMe)3. G: Corsair Force NVMe Gen3 in Gen4 slot - but only works on Gen34. H: WD Black hard drive. This is X570M Pro4 with ZEN2 Ryzen7 3700x processor. what would you choose
