I spend a lot of time in hotels for work. And I always travel with my Fire Stick to watch my stuff, not the local commercial cable channels. But I'm also a mildly germ-phobic person who doesn't think hotel remotes are ever cleaned. This has worked with every hotel TV I've tried and it's quite small and very thin. Tip: If you can't get it to work, check the back of your hotel TV. If there is an RJ-11 (phone cord) connector, unplug it. Your remote should now work. Ask the next guest to plug it back in before they leave, otherwise the hotel remote probably won't work for them. Tip 2: If the remote still doesn't fully work, especially when trying to change inputs, find your TV's model number and google that model and the words "Hotel Reset". Some TVs now support hotel mode, which dumbs it down, prevents "accidental" input changes, etc. Someone smarter than you and me figured out how to get it back to normal TV mode.
