Inserts easily (used for my left ear) and snaps in easily. I've been wearing it for a week now and it looks fantastic. Although it's quite large for my ear and tends to rest on the outer earlobe. Edit: Well I've had this for a few months now and have come to a sad realization. This is NOT stainless steel. My skin ate away every coating they used, exposing copper underneath. One star deducted for that
