The spring mechanism looks solid and allows for easy one-handed operation. The steel parts also look good. Above all, the pliers close completely at the tip and the cutting edge, in contrast to the popular needle-nose pliers. You might think these products will never make it into production, but quality construction and thoughtful design seems to be the exception rather than the norm these days. I think I bought it at a discount since there was no review but probably worth it even at $25 for those looking for a larger and very strong pair of pliers.
