I'm not the most skilled when it comes to "craftsman" jobs. When this box arrived I was a little intimidated by its size and weight. However, when I received it at a post box station near me, I was able to put 4 of the many markers on the plaques available. A pilot bit to prevent the wood from splitting was included and was very easy to install. The mailbox is pushed onto the bracket, fixed and after 15 minutes the mailbox is installed and ready for use. The postman stated that I received one of the best on the market. I am very happy with my new mailbox and would recommend it to anyone who needs a secure mailbox. ONE BUT: Take your measurements before you buy. The box is big and stable.
