Review on Abatron Wood Restoration Kit - 24oz: LiquidWood Epoxy Wood Hardener/Consolidant (12oz) + WoodEpox Epoxy Wood Filler (12oz) by Kenny Beyer

I purchased this item from this seller on 22nd November 2016 but the leave feedback button is gone but I wanted to leave it alone now , because I've only used the product :) So it took me some time to get the courage to do this project, but today I didn't think about it, I just did it. I watched the online video a few times, read the instructions a few times, and then got to work. I'm renovating a wooden floor from 1946 (I know it's original because I removed some walls and the floor was worn and already painted). This was the previous door before someone else tore down that wall. When I bought the house there was carpet so I didn't know about it. Took the carpet and HORROR! I figured I would have to cut the wood and maybe insert a right angle long piece into under floor supports etc. Research always yields more than one solution :) I found this and knew I could do it and save a lot of money. When painting liquid wood I found I didn't know when to apply woodpox. Wait or now? So. I took a chance (today is Sunday), several people answered :). The seller gave me really good advice and one to follow in the post. The seller said 5-20 minutes and the other said he waited about an hour. I had already waited about two hours but my clothes got wet and just right. sticky to the touch. So I mixed my clay and started pushing it into all the rotten cracks, breaking and breaking it and then smoothing it out as best I could. I made all the holes, one at a time, then went back and smoothed out a bit with alcohol. I poured some alcohol into a plastic cat food bowl (I keep these because they're so good for canvas painting and small jobs) and smoothed the surface with a dirt knife. It was already starting to get hard, but the alcohol made it a little more flexible again. When I painted with liquid wood I used a brush from my art kit, a 1/2 inch diameter brush. Some of the cracks were under a tree so I couldn't see how far back they were or how big they were, so I poured the liquid on the brush next to the hole and just swept the brush everywhere the brush went and then I didn't waste the liquid. try to scoop it into the holes. It worked great. I missed all three times. I mixed an ounce of liquid A and B and had a hard time using it all. There was more than enough, although I had a lot to do. There is also a lot left. Although I used all the wooden pox. I thought it's better to take a smaller amount at a time, mix them together and then add more because the paint should be the same color when the mixing is done. With a large number, it seemed to take forever to get a color. I just put it on top of a plastic bag and put my feet on either end of the bag to hold it. A few pieces fell out of my plasticine ball, which I simply wiped off with the ball in my hand. It is very easy to work with him. I used gloves but they must have been super manly :) Huge! I could use my hair dye gloves and they would fit better. It did the job though. I will try to post a photo of my pathetic sex. I know this is very amateurish, but I wish I had seen something like this while trying to work up the courage to start. Had no idea other than instructions on what to do and I'm doing great :)
