I needed a quick kitchen timer with big numbers that could be wall mounted. I found this one, good features and good price, and decided to try this one out. I wasn't disappointed, this one works great. First, it only uses one AAA battery and comes with the kit. The display is a good size, very durable, easy to read and I can work without glasses. Simple buttons, press to set, countdown and a good reliable alarm clock that I can hear from two rooms. Now it's not shrill, but a balanced alarm clock that's loud enough to be heard, just at a volume that's easy to hear from afar. It also has a stand that slides out where I've used it on the counter and it's very easy to slide out. Nothing about it is cheap, everything is good quality where it has worked great for me. No cons, very happy with the purchase.
