See in the Dark and See in the Light

The images attached here show normal indoor lighting and the lights are off. Some light comes from the next room, but mostly from the illuminators in this chamber. Note that the blue spatula turns very bright in IR - not shown here, my son has a black shirt that turns white in IR. I didn't spend a lot of time adjusting the focus so you get a sharper image. The camera has tiny screws. So if you have dexterity or vision problems, you may need help. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Pi Zero cable in the box, as well as a long regular Pi cable. One small issue is that the portholes are distinctly red, making it appear as if eyes are looking back at you in a dimly lit room. This might be a plus for some projects, but it's not a hidden darkroom camera.

Pros
  • Improved low light performance, IR corrected lens to reduce focus shift at night and IR LED to improve lighting conditions
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide
