. I was surprised that the engine has a custom plug size; Neither the 5/8" outlet I had on previous vehicles nor the 9/16" outlet I bought from my local auto parts store worked. So I ordered this one and was happy that it does its job perfectly. I had to use a few different extensions and the pivot extensions made it easy to couple the rear end caps, but it's not a big deal. how the car care works. All in all, it was a pretty easy task using this tool. It held plugs in and out securely, which is a big problem with this type of outlet. No problems with cross threads or anything like that, and I don't even need anything to penetrate and untie them before removing them. Useful reminder for this type of job: just make sure you use strong compressed air to blow out any unwanted debris after you've pulled each coil but before loosening the spark plug. You don't want those pebbles and dust falling into the top of the engine. At least that's what I was told.
