These LED bulbs are brighter than the incandescent bulbs they replaced. Current draw is only 0.6 amps as opposed to 3.0 amps for a single dual dome filament mount. This will certainly relieve my power converter and run with less heat. This also allows me to turn on more lights without having to turn off the circuit breaker. I plan to convert all lightbulbs to LEDs. The installation is very easy. The holes may not line up with your old mount and you will need to drill new holes, but the mount will cover all the holes so they are not visible. Another reviewer said polarity doesn't matter and it doesn't matter which wire goes where. It is not true. Yes, it works with reversed polarity, but the wires aren't labeled positive and negative. Your switch should always be on the hot wire, or the positive wire for 12 volt systems. There's a reason for that. Regardless of whether it is 120 volt house electricity or 12 volt direct current, every electrical device should always be connected with the correct polarity. You'll never get an electrician's license if you wire it the other way around. Anything worth doing is worth doing right.
