This light is beautiful and I love how the fan blades retract. This is a really beautifully designed lamp. However, there are problems. First, the mounting plate doesn't fit American electrical boxes, so you have to screw one side to the junction box and the other to the truss. To be honest, it's kind of ridiculous. They should sell the American version that fits our electric boxes. Secondly, the instructions are worth nothing in principle. In fact, they will only confuse you. You'd better just intuitively understand the installation process. One piece of advice I would like to give you is to assemble everything including the cover before lifting and inserting it into the bracket. I removed the glass lid and expected it to be easy to install like most American lids. I was wrong. They give you four brackets to screw onto the base and then you can screw the cover onto the brackets. Each of the mounts has a wide range of movement, so you'll need to adjust all four properly. This is very difficult when the light is hanging from the ceiling. BTW, in those awful instructions I mentioned earlier, there's not a word about brackets or assembling everything before installation. Another tip is that you don't have anything to do with the fan blades. I spent half an hour figuring out how to get them to stretch. It turns out that when the fan is turned on, they come out automatically due to centrifugal force. A simple one-sentence explanation in the manual that the fans would turn off automatically would be nice, but apparently that's asking too much. While talking about the fan I noticed a design flaw that the blades don't pop out when I set it to low. It needs to be medium or high to get enough power to push the fans out. I've also noticed that on average I don't feel any airflow from the fans on our 12-foot ceiling, so we have to crank it to maximum to get any benefit. On the other hand, the highs work well and are quiet. In general, the light is beautiful. The installation took me 2 hours longer than it should have because the instructions are not good. The fan could work better. As mentioned above, it currently only works for me at the height.
