They are beautiful and I couldn't wait for my daughter to have them. But in use they were not very good. The necklace needs to be bent and twisted in a specific way to create a gap to allow the necklace to be put on and taken off (it needs to be pulled apart by pulling one side up and one side down at the same time to create a diagonal to create a gap). . Every time my daughter tries to take the necklace off, she gets stuck and stabs her neck hard, with the two prongs of the ends stuck in the front sides of her neck. I have to rip her open to free her, leaving a crimson stain and a small bruise where the taut needles were wedged in her throat. Needless to say, this toy is not the most popular in our house and is on the verge of danger.
