📿 Melissa & Doug 8521 Dress Up Necklaces for Kids Review

God knows how many times I've stepped on them and they've never cracked or broken. I'm curious to know what they are REALLY made of. Hmm and they are beautiful. A design with nothing "glued” to it is a real plus. They did it with the illusion of jewels and it works! Then you have something to share with the princesses. What a wonderful product! Buy this. No regret!

We love these necklaces for our 3 and 1 year olds. Our only complaint is that the necklace's breaking tips have a slight plastic roughness to them. Our children get red marks and occasional scratches from quickly putting on and taking off their necklaces. Their pleasure seems to outweigh their discomfort, so we let them keep playing with them. Others may find the defect and subsequent scratches unacceptable.

I'm usually very happy with Melissa and Doug's products, but they missed it with this one. I figured durable meant they were posable and like a harder rubber material. It's just scrap plastic, almost like a headband, but very fragile. I do not recommend. That being said, my daughter loves to wear outfits but she just opened them up so I hope they last. (don't expect that to come)

Jewel Painted One Piece! No blindness falling and choking hazard for younger siblings! I also appreciate the fact that they are open at the back so they can't snag on anything and pose a choking hazard. They are quite flexible so my little one can easily put them on and take them off. She fell in love with them as soon as she unwrapped them and often wears 2-3 pieces at a time :) I'm sure they will serve you for many years. I would buy them again!

I really liked these toys for my little one. She puts them on and off herself. She didn't break them. BUT... We see my family a lot and they usually come home beaming after their makeup transfer while my sisters hug and kiss her. Her head was shimmering before bathing lol… I couldn't figure out why she was sparkling when we didn't see her… and then I noticed the metallic finish is VERY peeling off of these necklaces and it's a real shame because she keeps them on every time wore them tomorrow…

They are beautiful and I couldn't wait for my daughter to have them. But in use they were not very good. The necklace needs to be bent and twisted in a specific way to create a gap to allow the necklace to be put on and taken off (it needs to be pulled apart by pulling one side up and one side down at the same time to create a diagonal to create a gap). . I bought these for my 3, almost 4 year old child. The real ones require her to help dress and undress. and sometimes cling to their clothes and hair.
