Review on ๐Ÿ“บ BW 4.3 Inch LCD TFT Rearview Monitor Screen: Ideal Car Backup Camera Display" by Ryan Hadden

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Powered by 5V USB cable

The first thing I did was turn it on and test it with a 6V 5Ah lead acid battery and it worked great with a Sega connected to it Genesis clone. Video quality is pretty good, but when I plugged in the Sega I noticed some diagonal colored lines running about a quarter of the way up/across the screen from the bottom left corner. Then I tested the SNES and the lines were still there, so I took some photos and wanted to contact the seller, but then I decided to connect my camera's video out to it. Of course it worked well; no lines. I tested Playstation 1 and Playstation 3 and they worked great too. even when i changed the aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3, there were no more colored lines. Next, I tried turning on the screen with a cleaned USB cable and 5V turned it on with no problem. So I soldered it there. I HAVE noticed that the USB 3.0 slot on my PC that I was using caused the screen color to flicker slightly; There's no drop in signal, but it was a bit awkward. So I plugged the USB cable into the phone charger USB slot which supplies 800mA of current and it worked great. I definitely recommend buying; If you receive a defective item such as some of the negative reviews, the seller will simply give you a replacement. For $15 it's definitely worth it if you can get a good one.
