I recently moved from Massachusetts to North Carolina. The house I bought had all carpeting so I spent a lot of money replacing them with hardwood floors. I kept reading that inferior pads could actually be worse than having no pads at all in terms of wrecking your floors. These pads are 100% natural rubber on the bottom. I’ve purchased them for all my rugs in two different thicknesses and am very satisfied with them. When I moved last spring I picked up my large oriental rug and the pad had disintegrated and actually stuck to the floor! The pads may cost a little more than others but since I only intend to buy them once it was worth it. Another plus, I was able to trim them with a regular pair of scissors and there are grid lines on the rubber side to make it easier.
