Not only is it an SMR disk, it also parks heads every 8 seconds. On my desktop, the Load/unload cyclecomunt (193 or 0xC1) SMART attribute increased by about 150 every day. I tried everything: hdparm, Victoria, wdidle3, wd5741 - nothing works with this disk. APM is not regulated, nor is wd idle3 timer. As a result, I wrote down a script that overwrites a file on this disk every 7 seconds.
