I was a bit concerned
When I received the remote control there were no instructions with it. There was no list of codes typically required to program a universal remote. I was disappointed and a little concerned that I wouldn't be able to use it, but when I pressed the power button IT WORKS! My parents' Dynex TV doesn't need programming. Simply insert batteries and you're done. Very happy with its performance. I still think there must have been a guide.
