It's better than those black Berkey cartridges that bust.
. They're better than those black Berkey cartridges that pop out of the slots and let the water through unfiltered. I can't give 5 stars because I can't measure the actual quality of the filtered water. 4 stars for the smell and taste of the water. It takes about 4-5 hours to filter the entire top tank of my Berkey filter. Slowly, but I'm satisfied with this speed. At least it feels like it's filtering water, unlike the black Berkey cartridges where the water just spurts through.
