Review on High Speed Flat HDMI Cable 25ft - Supports Ethernet, 4K, 3D, 2160p - Latest Standard - CL3 Rated - 25 Feet by Donald Gore

I bought this cable a few days ago, over a year ago (as it seems today). Since it only comes with a 1-year limited warranty, I'm a little SOL. During the winter I travel to 3-4 different locations in the US for exhibits and I needed a cable long enough so that I could hook it up to my hotel TV and watch movies while still having access to my laptop. I thought that would be the solution. Unfortunately, I only managed to use it twice in 2018 and once more recently. This last use showed that it was unusable. Between trips it was rolled up (exactly as I received it) and stored in an airtight container in my office. disintegrate just like the cheap versions within the first year. When it works, it's amazing. Maybe I'm just being cynical, but almost like clockwork or planned obsolescence, consumer products fail a few days past their expiration date. I'm not exactly sure what my options are now. Maybe I'll buy and take 3 cheaper versions with me because it works.
