Review on LG Electronics Blu Ray Writer Optical by Ivan Carson

I installed this in a Vantec USB 3 case (which allows flashing): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MRUN0HQ/ Comes with sub-optimal firmware version to make MakeMKV to use (my choice of software copy software). It took me a few minutes to figure out how to burn a 'libre drive' compatible firmware. Once that was done, everything worked like clockwork. If you're interested, just google "libre drive makemkv" and you'll find what you need. Even without this, the drive works as advertised, reading UHD discs (and pretty much everything else) perfectly and writing (including M-Disc) with no issues.
