The funny thing is that the 2.5mm connector is less than 100% compatible with a standard 2.5mm connector. As a result, it's difficult to use: when I plug it into the 2.5mm jack on my AT&T 17929 phone, I have to be very careful to insert it far enough but not too deep, otherwise there's no sound. Sometimes it can move on its own, which mutes the audio during a call. Other 2.5mm plugs didn't have this problem (and I've tried a few). Jabra Quick Release Plug) is a bad choice for me.
