All audio throughput was lost when the audio level was below a certain threshold. If you observe movement and the audio track stops, the audio will shoot back, sometimes for half a second, sometimes for many seconds. I sent back the first block but the replacement block was the same. I liked the size and quality of the picture, so I came up with a workaround: I used an HDMI audio splitter to isolate the audio, then sent that signal through a small headphone amp, and finally played the audio through the soundbar. Everything runs on the back of the TV and is powered by the TV so there is only one (12 volt) mains connection.
