I had 8 gigs in my A1 slot and then inserted this stick into my A2, powered on my desktop and got the critical source error. tried every slot and still the error, so i put this stick in the A1 slot and everything was fine. Weird error and probably somehting on my part but i have been putting ram into computers many times over the years and never encounter a problem like this. Otherwise its a fast, inexpensive ram stick.
