Love this hood. The suction power is awesome. If you want full performance, remove the filters. I paid twice for my installation. The first installation worked as expected until the temperature went up to 18°, my kitchen was 55°, the rest of the house was 68°, you could feel cold air coming out. The hood is not to blame. The installation flap must be checked to see whether it can close. I think in the review where steam was in front, the damper was closed. On my second install, the damper was closed and all 900 cubic feet of air flowed around my stove. Check again that the flap opens and closes. I bought an adapter that is not working properly. Eventually after the second install I bought a bigger one and since the hood was bolted on properly I got repair parts and repaired the trunk and pipe myself. I think the main problem was that the damper was clogged. Love the adjustable lights and the flick of the wrist to turn them on when your hands are full. I am 100% satisfied with the hood, 0% satisfied with the payment for the first install and satisfied with the second install as I found the actual problem that needed to be fixed the first time. I would definitely go back though.
