The packaging design is nice, but the length is not enough. I bought it for my sprained ankle. I'm a size 9 and to wrap it like the picture I actually had to pull on it and instead of a compression bandage I ended up with a tourniquet! I had to take it off then there was a problem trying to take it off. They put some really strong velcro on it but it wouldn't separate from the other material so I figured I'd have to cut it off. It hurt me even more when I tried to get rid of it. When I looked at it, I noticed that it has a V and Velcro closure. If you look down and see black on black you can't feel or see the end of the tongue and you end up pulling on the v-piece and don't want to let go. Therefore, when using it you will have to grope for the rounded part and then drag to release it. If you have some mobility issues you will likely have trouble putting this on. Also, I don't see it on an adult male leg, there is no length. It's easier to put on than an ace, but I wish the length was there. So I ended up adding about 6 inches of thin foil. Now I can wear it. It gives me the compression I need without cutting off my blood supply. Now for directions. If you have eagle eyes you will have no problem reading instructions. However, if you're a high school student like me with not very good eyesight, you're going to have problems. The font size used is around 6-8 very small images, less than 1/3" x 1/3". (see fig.). I ended up scanning it, enlarging it and printing it out myself. So well made, but the length is too short. You need to make the directions a bit bigger. It is also possible to offer a longer length for people with larger feet. It would be good for people with small feet and no swelling. (I only had a little swelling from the stretch, so it should have worked, but it didn't. Some people may have problems with the elastic they put on the back of the elastic. I put on a very thin sock because I didn't want a big part and wanted to be able to put my boot on.
