I really wanted something that wouldn't drip when standing or spilling water on the counter. They're made of this fabric and have a weave that looks like it's meant to absorb moisture, but it doesn't. They are very cute, big and a good weight, but from a functional point of view they just leave water on the counter and I had to wipe it with a cotton cloth to dry it. I sent back another package of these. I have purchased "fleece" or "velvet" kitchen towels which work amazingly well in terms of absorbency!
