I recently found out that my supermarket is getting rid of plastic bags and is offering paper bags for a fee. I decided it was time to look for a better option than store-bought paper bags that often rip when filled with too many items. I was looking for something attractive, washable, durable and easily foldable for storage. These bags are perfect! I noticed in the reviews that someone thought they weren't big enough so I measured them and compared the sizes to regular grocery bags. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the width and length measurements were almost the same, maybe even more square (13"X10") than your standard grocery bag, but the height was 11 inches, which is fine because You don't want the shopping bag to be too heavy. Not only was I able to pack for self control much faster than I could with paper, but when I lifted the handles I was surprised to find that it wasn't as hard as I had feared. These tote bags are much better than handbags as they are more like foldable lightweight boxes that can be carried on the arm and look trendy modern. Only downside is the price, but given that these bags can be washed in cold water or lightly laundered, wipe them down and they probably won't break as quickly as other options. I think it's worth the money as stated by another reviewer. I also help to protect the environment.
