Looks good and solid at first glance but didn't fit me at all. For starters, it's a little thick at the 3.5mm end, making it difficult to fit into the slightly recessed phone jack on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus, naked or with a case. I tried cutting off some black plastic but it still didn't work. If I squeeze and wiggle a bit, I get a few seconds of great sound here and there, but then it goes away. The same thing happens when I use it with my laptop and the headphone jack. Both the phone and the headphone jack on the computer work great with my daughter's big, thick Sony headphones, which have a standard 3.5mm jack, as well as some other speakers/subwoofers. I have a bass setup. And of course my old AKG studio monitors sound great when plugged into any 1/4" jack.
