Review on Eco-Friendly Kitchen Island With Wheels, Pull-Out Drawer, Cabinet, Shelf, And Sturdy Natural Hardwood Surface In White Hue by Martha Lieras

Fits my space, but disappointed with final results.

I bought this cart for my microwave and other kitchen items primarily because the dimensions were the closest I could find to fit into a very small space. It works very well for that purpose. However, I'm disappointed with the overall quality of the cart, because it's missing the small touches that would have made it look better. Some of these things are just not evident from the online description, and I didn't realize it until it was assembled. For example, the drawer doesn't fit well, so there's an open space on the top. I think it's because it doesn't hang well on the wooden ramps, which would need to be raised just a bit. But that's not easy to do as these ramps came already attached to the frame. Second, the "covers" for the hardware are stickers that will probably come off eventually. Most other DIY furniture comes with sturdier covers that you have to tap in. Also, now that it's assembled, I realize that it's going to be hard to access the bottom storage area because you have to bend over or get down on your knees to access the space. It's good for storing things I don't need often, but would be cumbersome if I needed to use it daily or more often. And there's no shelf, which means it's good for large items mostly, unless you buy a shelf, which I've done. Had I been able to figure all this out before assembly, I might have considered returning it, but it's too late for that. Bottom line: It works but has been a disappointment overall.

Pros
  • Rolls great and is a perfect size for small spaces. Sturdy too.
Cons
  • The storage capacity may not be enough for large families or those who frequently host gatherings
