First the grommets on the first pair and the spare pair broke. They would have almost succeeded if the lacing wasn't worse. It ruined my softball tournament and the seller should refund my money regardless of the refund. Otherwise, the fit and comfort are excellent. I have girlish slim legs so I speak for myself. I don't know how wide they fit.
