both work very well

I only needed the LCD because my switch screen was cracked but I replaced both the digitizer and the screen to see if they worked and if they worked. Keep in mind that this doesn't come with tape so it's up to you if you want to tape it securely. It's nice to have a screen protector added to this kit given its price, it's not a bad deal for all three items.
