This is PITA for Notebook Accessories

Soooo. On my first order the shipping cost was more than the filter even though I'm a Prime member and all the screens before receiving it showed free shipping. So good - cancel it; order a new one. Yay for the free shipping. Then it came and I immediately noticed one thing: it doesn't cover the entire screen. I measured very carefully before ordering and my screen is exactly 24 inches. The filter is just shy. Okay ok I don't often need the top of my screen for dimming so I used it. The last few weeks have been disappointing. The filter doesn't stick to the screen and nothing keeps it in place. There is a gap between the filter and the screen, making the image blurry and the text almost illegible. I can attribute a few recent headaches trying to work the filter in place, and I've used my hand to smooth the filter more times than I can count. I tried gluing it in place but no tape configuration. I found the entire filter in place (no small pieces of tape in the middle of my field of view). Realizing how much effort I wasted trying to get this thing to work, I took it off. It's back up my sleeve, waiting for me to have that overwhelming need for onscreen privacy that has me wanting to put it back in place. At the moment I am experiencing etc. I will only work with sensitive information when no one is around. It seems easier than using a filter. Also, your screen will become darker (as if you were wearing sunglasses). If you're working on something where you need to see real colors on the screen, the filter will interfere with your work.
