just wanted to add a few negatives to the other positive reviews (I agree with most of them). I bought this camera through Amazon and it took me less than an hour to figure out the features (there aren't many) and controls. I think it's a good camera in this price range, but it doesn't adapt to movement very well. the video looks blurry/jerky when moving the camcorder sideways during recording (a little faster than a turtle :)). When playing a long, continuous recording (>5 minutes), I noticed a stop-and-go. Initially I thought it might be because I played the DVD straight through my camcorder but there are short (1s) pauses in the mpg files I extracted to my computer. Other than those two issues, it worked fine. Speaking of software, it's just terrible. You need to connect the phone camera to your computer to install the software (why should I install this useless software if I don't have this phone camera). After you finish the installation, I can't save the files (in MPG format) to another folder. You need to register the folder before you can use it (seriously!). after saving files in mpg format, it is better to use another program.
