I will break it down into several parts. Appearance: I know it's MDF with veneer, but this turntable is great. Her style is minimal and simple. The dust cover is durable and allows you to protect all components from dust. You can also leave the dust cover on while playing vinyl records. Features: One knob turns the turntable on/off (just select 33 or 45 RPM and it starts spinning automatically when the tonearm is removed from the rest. I bypassed the preamp with a switch on the back and the turntable hooked up to my Go Groove preamp and grounded my Onkyo receiver preamp to the back of the turntable rubber mat as well as aluminum plate is a nice feature hitchhiking enabled, which is very handy when I put a record in the background while I'm in another room The table will stop spinning shortly after the last song Done Just put the arm back in place yourself.. The hook keeps the arm in a secure position until you unplug it to play The cue lever is a fantastic feature. It slowly and gently lowers the pickup onto the vinyl and can be used as a "pause" - the album will continue where it left off have when you lower it back down. y, essential unit. The rubber feet are nice and give the player a nice solid base. Installation: I followed the arm balance and antiskating instructions. The tonearm had to be filed a bit, but that wasn't a burden. If you want to open the box and are ready to go, you can look elsewhere. The assembly is actually not difficult as the instructions are clear and concise. The belt is incredibly easy to set up. After the setup was complete, I listened to a few songs and the sound was clear and consistent. But I still followed the instructions for the 24-hour belt inlet. Sound: Incredible dynamics. The sound is clear and the sound is amazingly full. You can hear the smallest details if you listen to them. I keep hearing/noticing new things in songs I've heard hundreds of times. This player makes my favorite artists shine (and I listen to everything: folk, classic rock, electronica, indie, progressive death metal, etc.). Hearing Origin's rampaging blastbeats and bass guitar is a real treat on this turntable (the bass blends beautifully and you can actually hear the ridiculous stuff the bassist is doing). I've spent hours reading reviews of such players. I wanted to get more serious about collecting and listening to music on vinyl and investing a few hundred dollars in this player was absolutely worth every penny. Far from being a pro or a vinyl snob, I'm a longtime music enthusiast looking for something to care about/enjoy listening to. This player has become an excellent investment in this direction.
