This weatherproof socket cover is the ideal solution to replace your damaged or broken cover. This particular cover is designed for vertical mounting (opens from the top if mounted narrow side up). Other models open sideways. Be sure to buy the type that suits your point of sale. If you're using one that opens on the side of the outlet, it won't give you as much weather protection. Also, make sure you choose the type of lid for the spout you want - some have a rectangular hole and some have a double oval (old style spouts). My application does not require painting the lid. I think it might be colored but I haven't tested it.
