I would like to start by not being able to test this amplifier and the reason is that it did not come with a manual. Assembly instructions would be nice, but not a must. I'm sure everyone could understand that. The missing instructions are the audio in/out cables. I would suggest that the front side with the potentiometer (volume/gain control) would be the input using standard audio cables and the opposite side with the left and right signals screwed together would be the output. But who knows? Case First, the front cover doesn't fit. There is a tiny protrusion on the potentiometer that I cut off, but that part of the body is still sticking out. The body is made of 2mm thick acrylic. Since acrylic is so thin, you definitely run the risk of breaking it just trying to put it together. I managed to assemble it without cracks. Even when the whole body is assembled, some sides are still moving and appear very fragile. If you remove the fan, you just can't attach it to the case because the included screws are too short. Nobody should buy screws just to assemble something like this. The fan comes with a 10 inch cable, although the photos in the listing give the impression that it is properly connected to the connector. Also, the fan is a bit patchy. The fan only indicates that it is a 24V DC fan without specifying the amperage. I have no idea if the speed increases or decreases due to the 9-36V DC input voltage. Is it settled? Who knows? There is no instruction manual. Circuit design The heatsink is tilted slightly to the side and presses on the capacitors at the front and sides. Probably not that big of a problem, but at least lazily built. There is also a double DIP switch on the front left side of the box. what does it do Your guess is as good as mine since no instructions were given. Again, I haven't enabled this yet to try. I will do this when I find some screws for the fan and also cut the fan wire to fit. My first impression is to buy it for more than just functional issues and missing instructions. I will update this review as soon as I can test it.
