It fits perfectly on the side of the stock foxbody oil pan so I can replace a leaking/unusable oil level sensor. Put on an appropriately sized copper washer and I'm sealed tight and airtight. Or if I want to add a decent aftermarket temp sensor, the center of the connector is large and fairly soft, making it easy to drill out and tap to the size of the sensor's threads.
