This item doesn't exactly do what it promises, but it does other things that could be better. Some instructions or pictures might be good to start with. It wasn't clear how high and where the best position was and it took me a few tries to get it right. After that, I found that I could see the light fairly well when it was in the correct position (near the top edge of the windshield, with the suction cup on top). But here's the fun stuff. First, since installing this, I have very rarely found myself first at a red light when the light is near my side of the intersection. I usually have several cars lined up at the back, or I have a light hung in front of me where I can see it well. The second is that on those now extremely rare occasions when I'm first and the light is over me, I get a perfect—and I mean PERFECT—representation of the light reflecting in my hood. It's obvious now, but I never realized it until I paid for this thing. I suspect this will end up being a conversation starter for me and the passengers, but I won't know until after COVID I guess. Me: 6 feet 2 inches (187 cm). ) My car: Jeep Wrangler JL
