I bought Akaso Brave 7 LE to photograph my kayak fishing trips. I have Akaso EK7000, this camera will replace my main camera. I was looking for a camera that would provide excellent picture and sound and be waterproof without a housing. At first I was surprised by the feel of this camera, it feels solid. It doesn't have the cheap feel that most action cameras have. So far I've been using this camera at 1080p 60fps. In my opinion the video quality is better than the EK7000 and comparable to my GoPro session. The sound was a big plus for me. The Brave 7 LE's internal mic was able to pick up my voice at a level I was comfortable with and performed much better than the waterproof EK7000. The front screen is an added bonus, now I can be sure I'm in the picture while recording. Brave 7 LE has a number of features that I will try in the future. Overall I think this is a great little camera at a great price. Updated 08/30/20. I've used the Brave 7 LE a few times and it got the job done with no issues. I run it on my kayak battery and it records great video with more than acceptable sound. I am very happy with this purchase.
