We have a very lightweight, easy to install ceiling fan. Well it's easy to install if you have someone to help you because the wires are very short. Unlike the fans you buy at your local store that give you so many cables that you have to cut them down, this fan gives you the least amount of cables to connect. They offer an adapter so you can add more cables (which you supply if needed. It took me about 15 minutes to install. Why I only gave this fan 3 stars: 1: It's small and it's hard to feel the air outlet , if you're right under the fan 2: NO instructions, so you'll have to figure out for yourself that you have to turn the fan off/on to cycle through the options to change the heat/brightness of the light 3: I think this fan is meant to be used with the APP, and without the app, you won't have the same experience with the remote control, did I mention ZERO instructions?
