I have had a triple bar (Ohaus) for many years and have always planned to purchase these weights to increase the weight capacity of the scale. When I saw them on Revain recently, I was concerned about how accurate they would be. Upon receipt I was a little overwhelmed with the fit and finish, they are a bit on the rough side. But as for the accuracy of their weights, I weighed them on my 0.01g accuracy scale and all three are within plus or minus 0.02g. Pretty good as the Triple Beam is accurate to within 0.1g. A note for potential buyers: two 1000g weights actually weigh 295g and a 500g weight actually weighs 147.5g. That may come as a surprise to some - and the advertising doesn't make it clear. This is because the 1000g and 500g ratings are based on the equivalent weight as COUNTERWEIGHT if it were mounted on a triple beam and not the actual weight of the part itself. So who are two 1000g and one 500g -calibration weight expected, don't be surprised if they weigh 295 g or 147.5 g! Five stars overall because at the end of the day they do what they say they do, down to 0.1g of the scale they work on! Fit and workmanship are not 5 stars, but that's not enough for a rating.
