So the foam mattress definitely sucks down. I have a king size mattress that I need to store for a while. But he didn't even stay hooked for two weeks. Not fully inflated, but air is sucking in somewhere...I don't know where. After 12 days I had to suck again to get the air out of the bag again to suck it back up so I was even folded and buckled into 3 different sections, came with a strap I added 2 more to hold it . safer below. So you need to check your mattress constantly, I would say every 10 days just to make sure it isn't blowing up in the bag. Not sure if other brands are better sealed in it... But on the first try for the first time dropping the blanket mattress. It would probably be better to have a few people on it while you roll it up to let out even more air.
